Betty Duncan

Betty (Williams) Duncan, 98, Noblesville, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2009 at Maple Park Village in Westfield. She was born June 5, 1911 in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania to Louis H. and Charlotte (Moelk) Williams. She married Harold A. Duncan on August 31, 1935 in Canandiagua, New York. He died June 3, 1992.
Betty was retired from Americana Nursing Homes, Inc, in Monticello, IL, where she had been a receptionist. She was a 1933 graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University and a member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority. She had also a member of Monticello United Methodist Church for over 50 years, where she was a member of the choir for many years; and had been a member of the Monticello Women's Club.
She is survived by her son, William L. Duncan of Noblesville; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents she is preceded in death by daughter, Susan D. Carlson.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM at Monticello Cemetery in Monticello, IL on Monday, June 22, 2009.
