Betty Ruth Adams

Betty Ruth Adams, 85, of Noblesville, IN, formerly of Columbus, GA passed away on Friday, Dec 16, 2022 surrounded by her family.

Betty was born in Woodbury, GA on June 4, 1937 to the late John C Smith and Aline Coe Smith.  She is preceded in death by her loving husband, John Q Adams and son, John Q Adams, Jr (Trish), brothers, Tony Smith (Yvette), Sam Smith, Rick Smith and Lonnie Smith.

Betty was a faithful Christian who leaned on her Lord for strength in all things. She loved her family without measure and brought joy to all our lives.  She is survived by her daughter, Angie Rinehart (Greg) of Carmel, IN, sister, Ginger Worsham of Browns Summit, NC, brother Michael Smith of Columbus, GA, eight grandchildren, Karen Forsyth (Mike), Adam Barrow (Kate), Shanna Brown (Jron), Quincy Adams, Morgan Rinehart (Erika), Shannon Monroe (Caleb), Haley Adams, and Ryan Adams.  Her nurturing legacy is carried on by 17 great-grandchildren, her beloved “GG babies”, and her many nieces and nephews who always had a hug for Aunt Betty. 

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville.  Funeral services and burial will follow in Georgia with arrangements being handled by Striffler-Hamby Mortuary.
