Bert W. McClure, 60, of Noblesville, IN, died peacefully surrounded by family on July 25, 2025 after a 14-year battle with cancer.
Bert was born on November 17, 1964 in Dalhart, Texas, to Bert Earl and LaDonna McClure. He lived in Noblesville with his daughter, Lacy and son-in-law, Joshua. Bert followed in his father’s footsteps making a career as an over the road truck driver for 30+ years of his life.
Bert is most fondly remembered for his humor, always making everyone laugh, telling the same stories over and over, and his Bert Guarantee. He had such a big heart, and always saw the best in people, often even putting strangers needs in front of his own. He made friends with anyone and everyone. He found the most joy in the small things of everyday life, such as giving nicknames to all his grandkids and their friends. He loved spending time hanging out and being in the company of family and friends. Bert would send messages to his kids and grandkids daily, telling them to “have a good day and I love you”.
Bert is survived by his 4 children: daughter Lacy and husband Joshua Lawrence of Noblesville, IN; daughter Ashley Ford and fiancé Justin Hale of Anderson, IN; son Christopher McClure and fiancé Katherine Dralle of Indianapolis, IN; daughter Caressa McClure of Indianapolis, IN; wife Sue Ann McClure (Linn) of Noblesville, IN; one brother Larry and wife Lisa McClure of Norman, OK; sister Charmane and husband James McDade of Newcastle, OK; sister Eyvonne Franco of Newcastle, OK; and eight grandkids: Josh Lawrence “Bo-Faniel”, Samual Jolly “Chip-A-Dip”, Blake Deppe “Blakester”, Aubrey Lawrence “gran-girly girly”, Lillianna Hale “Seedle Monkey”, Justin Hale Jr. “June Bug”, Isabella Hale “Bubbalub” and Ciara Deppe “Mac”.
Bert is preceded in death by his parents Bert and LaDonna, and a brother Mark McClure.
A celebration of life will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville.
