Barbara Jean Gillard

Barbara Jean Gillard, 74, of Noblesville, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024 at her home, surrounded by family after a short battle with brain cancer. She was born on January 28, 1950 to Gerald and Stella (King) Satterfield in Muncie, Indiana.

Barbara worked as a caregiver for Headstart daycare and was also a home health care provider. Helping others was her passion. Barbara loved to travel, especially to Shipshewana with her husband, and to country concerts with her daughter. She was a vanilla Coke drinker and loved Pizza King pizza. Barbara loved talking politics, loved the Indiana Pacers, and was a Muncie Central Bearcat through and through. She was a past Bethel Guardian for Job's Daughters International. Most of all, she adored her grandson, Jacob.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Tori (Andrew) Lindamood; sister, Lisa Rivera; grandson, Jacob; best friends, Ethel Smith, Stephanie Roberts, Aaliyah & Ashley Smith, Makayla Morrison, and Aaron, Briana, Ethan & Zachary Smith; and her beloved dog & cat, Dove and Tux.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael David Gillard; sister, Deanna Facio; and her brother, Gary Satterfield.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, with services at 2:00 pm, on Monday, August 26, 2024 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville. Barbara will be laid to rest next to her husband, Michael, at Riverside Cemetery in Noblesville.
