Arthur L. Pryor Sr.

Arthur L. Pryor Sr., 73, of Indianapolis, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023 surrounded by his family at his home in Indianapolis.  He was born on September 28, 1949 to Jesse Pryor Sr. and Madie (Bowlin) Pryor in Creekmore, Kentucky.

Art was a song writer who loved playing his music.  He worked in apartment maintenance.  Art enjoyed fishing and rescuing cats.

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Carolyn Pryor; daughters, Tina (Karl) Moore and Lorie West; son, Arthur (Cybil) Pryor II; 9 grandchildren, Lauren Renniker, Brittany Wood, Deanna Konkle, Arthur Pryor III, Joshua Pryor, Isabelle Pryor, Kat Pryor, Destiny Bonner and Breanna Harris; and 6 great-grandchildren, Breana, Addison, Kohen, Ellie, Lucy and Daemon.

In addition to his parents, Art was preceded in death by his sisters, Pearl, Gracie, Nellie, Cynthia, Barb, Joyce, and Irene; and his brothers, Al, Jesse, Lodie, and Paul.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, with services at 12:00 pm, on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, Noblesville, IN 46060.  Tony Pryor will officiate.  Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
