Ann W. Harned

Ann W. Harned, 97, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Meadow Brook Assisted Living in Fishers. She was born on December 16, 1928, to Hobert and Mayme (Barker) Witt in West Irvine, Kentucky.

Euodias Harned was the love of Ann’s life. They eloped in 1950 and spent 61 wonderful years together before his passing. Ann worked for Dun and Bradstreet for 13 years before their daughter was born. Afterwards, she was a stay-at-home mom.

Ann was very social, enjoyed playing bridge, and loved spending time with her family. She had a great memory. Everyone loved her stories from her childhood during the Great Depression. Almost every story had a lesson.

She is survived by her daughter, Janet (Fred) Foxworthy, grandsons Scott (Meghan) Foxworthy and Thomas (Haylie) Foxworthy, great-grandchildren Willow and Rowen, and grand-niece, Susanna (Daniel) Scott, and great grand-nephew, Theo.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Euodias C. Harned and sister, Christine Witt.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road in Fishers, with Pastor Greg Steible officiating. Visitation is from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Memorial service is at 1:00 pm. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Fishers.
