Andrew M. Habel, 42, of Noblesville, IN passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021. He was born November 10, 1978 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Dr. Michael and Martha (Schwehn) Habel. He married Erin (Ditty) Habel on September 20, 2003. She survives. Andrew worked over 18 years in the construction industry. The last 6 years he worked at Compass Commercial Group where he served in numerous roles and ended as Partner and Project Executive.
Andrew attended Northview Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He had a passion for outdoor cooking and entertaining where he enjoyed sharing the skills he learned as a member of the KCBS professional BBQ team. Andrew previously served as an Associate Builders & Contractors Board Member, served as the Carlton Heights HOA Board President, and coached baseball and basketball with his kids. He was also involved in other community groups in Noblesville including the Facade Grant Committee, Mainstreet Board, 50 Club, and the Hamilton County Leadership Academy. He will be remembered for his quick wit, his never ending words of wisdom and encouragement, his passion for life and his fierce love of his family. He touched many lives and we all are better for knowing him.
Survivors include his wife and best friend, Erin, and three sons, Maxwell William (15), Luke Andrew (13) and Beau Michael (7); his parents, Mike and Marcie Habel of Decatur, IN; sister, Emily Wood of Franklin, IN and brother, Ben (Susan) Habel of Decatur, IN; father in law Bill (Verda) Ditty of Noblesville, IN and mother in law, Janet (John) Labore of Noblesville, IN; sister in law Michelle (Brandon) Brackett of Indianapolis, IN, brothers in law, Hunter White of Bend, Oregon and Michael White of Indianapolis, IN; nieces and nephews Garrett Wood, Sam Wood, Katie Wood, Hazel Brackett and Ramona Brackett. He will be missed by an incredible group of friends, colleagues and extended family members.
Friends may pay their respects on Friday, November 19 at Northview Church, 12900 Hazel Dell Parkway, Carmel, IN from 1 - 4 p.m. A celebration of life service will follow at 4 p.m.
