Alonzo "Al" Young

Alonzo (Al) Young, 88, was born 3/21/1938 to the late Levi and Emma Young. Al passed away peacefully on 10/23/2026 at Copper Trace, after having hip surgery and rehabilitation.

Al married the love of his life the late Loretta Young in 1969. To this union they had no children, but Al had one son Carl Young that was born from a prior union. Al went to school and studied engineering and business, then went on to manage multiple business in the construction industry through the years.

Al was a great cook and liked golfing and watching old western movies. He and his wife Loretta had many dogs over the years, which were like their children, and at one point they had 10 Poodles and a Pointer dog that they loved dearly. Al and Loretta enjoyed living in the country and spending time with their nieces, Lisa, Lori, Heather, and other family members.

Al also enjoyed spending time with his friends Andy Bohn and Bill Brooks and leaves his sister Dorothy to cherish his memory.

Al was a great father, brother, uncle and friend and he will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.
