Alfred (Al) Otis Johnson Jr., 80, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026, at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital in Anderson. He was born on May 4, 1945, to Alfred Otis, Sr. and Martha (Jones) Johnson in Chandler, Oklahoma.
Al was a contractor for plumbing, heating, and electrical. Growing up he was in Boy Scouts, became an Eagle Scout, and then a Scout Master for several years. Al taught Bible studies and Sunday school. He enjoyed tinkering on the computer and spending time outside. Al loved all his critters (pets). Most of all he loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Johnson; children, Alfred Berton (Molly) Johnson, Thomas Andrew (Christine) Johnson, and Deana Gayle Ochoa; grandchildren, Abigail (Niko) Wilson, Wesley Johnson, Emmaline Johnson, Liam Johnson, Collin Johnson, Jeremiah Ochoa, Alicia (Isaiah Martin) Ochoa, Zachariah Ochoa, and Samuel Ochoa; sister, Jean Johnson Lyons; and brother-in-law, Larry Berton Bean.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Joshua Ochoa.
Services will be held at a later date.
