Agnes Barton

Agnes (Murdock) Barton, 86, Indianapolis, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2008 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born February 28, 1922 in Jennings County, Indiana to Louise (Spoessig) and Claude Murdock.
Agnes was a homemaker and had also worked at Tops and K-Mart. She had attended the First Church of God in Noblesville. Agnes enjoyed sewing and cooking and also babysitting.
She is survived by son, David L. Barton of Indianapolis, brother, John Murdock of Noblesville, brother, Floyd "Bill" Murdock of Noblesville, sister, Norma Small, Florida, 5 grandchildren (Deanne High, David Daniel Barton, Edward Hood, Jason Hood and Pam Hood) and 5 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lester Barton; one daughter, Nora Hood; one brother, Russell Murdock and one sister, Mae Dolzall.
Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 17, 2008 with Rev. Stanley R. Sutton officiating. Friends may call Sunday, March 16, 1:00 - 4:00 PM at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, Noblesville. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis, Indiana.
